Fianarantsoa (Madagascar) - Nous sommes dans la gare routière de Fianarantsoa. Cette grande ville de 190.000 habitants, est la porte d’entrée sur le grand sud de la Grande île. Chaque jour, plus de 200 taxis de brousse partent d’ici et autant y reviennent.
Les compagnies de taxis de brousse sont organisés en coopératives.La plupart du temps, le chauffeur loue le véhicule à la coopérative dont il est adhérent. Le taxi ne part que lsi toutes les places sont vendues. Le « surbooking » fait partie des habitudes. On vend deux places pour trois personnes. En clair, si vous êtes deux et que vous voulez un siège par personne, il faut en acheter trois. Ce qui n’empêchera pas un petit malin de s’inviter sur votre siège, quand ce n’est pas sur vos genoux. Là il faut être ferme et refuser toute négociation car le voyage sera épuisant.
Si au moment de l’achat du billet on vous donne un horaire de départ, compter deux heures de plus. Au printemps 2023 quand j’ai pris un taxi de brousse pour la dernière fois pour aller à Manakara, le temps de voyage estimé était de 6 heures. Tout c’est bien passé pour une fois, mais nous sommes arrivés avec 3 heures de retard. Bref, rien à signaler !
