Dhobi Gath, vu d’en haut
Mumbai (Inde) - En principe, cette vue générale du Dhobi Gath, est la « photo d’ouverture » qui aurait dû annoncer la série. Mais j’ai préféré commencer avec des photos qui nous plongent directement au cœur du sujet. Une plateforme photographique n’est pas un magazine.
La série n’aurait cependant pas été complète sans ce plan général pris du haut d’un pont.
Cette vue d’ensemble permet de réaliser que le Dhobi Gath est coincé entre la voie ferrée, sur la gauche et les tours modernes qui poussent comme des champignons.
Le ciel est chargé et il pleut au loin. Heureusement pour le linge qui sèche, la pluie s’est vite arrêtée.

This overview makes it possible to realize that the Dhobi Gath is wedged between the railway tracks, on the left, and the modern towers which are sprouting like mushrooms.
The sky is charged and it is raining in the distance. Luckily for the drying laundry, the rain soon stopped.
