Monrondava (Madagascar) - Je reviens de la lagune où j’ai tenté de photographier les passagers descendant des taxis-pirogues. Malgré la lumière diffusée sur l’eau qui adoucit un soleil encore violent en cette fin de journée, je suis un peu déçu de ma séance de prise de vues. Aucune image satisfaisante. La foule qui descendait des embarcations restait désespérément compacte et je n’ai pas réussi à mettre un peu d’ordre et d’harmonie dans mon viseur.
Je suis sur le chemin de mon hôtel. Je viens de passer à côté de ces cyclopousses, mais l’environnement (mur en blocs d’agglomérés) n’est pas esthétique. Quelques mètres plus loin, je me retourne. La position de l’homme au chapeau m’incite à tenter malgré tout cette photo.

Monrondava (Madagascar) - I just came back from the lagoon where I tried to photograph the passengers getting out of the canoe taxis. Despite the light diffused on the water which softens a still violent sun at the end of the day, I am a little disappointed with my shooting session. No satisfying image. The crowd descending from the boats remained desperately compact and I failed to put a little order and harmony in my viewfinder.
I am on the way to my hotel. I just passed by these rickshaws, but the environment (chipboard block wall) is not aesthetic. A few meters away, I turn around. The position of the man in the hat encourages me to try this photo despite everything.
