Il faut ensuite traverser un enchevêtrement de voies ferrées et d’aiguillages. Attention aux trains ! Longer ensuite un mur et s’engouffrer dans une ouverture, traverser un ruisseau malodorant en marchand sur les planches bancales. Ça y est, vous êtes arrivés !
C’est ici que l’équipe soignante d’Action Bénarès apporte plusieurs fois par semaine, un suivi sanitaire aux habitants du bidonville. Des centaines de familles totalement déshéritées vivent dans ce bidonville. Toutes appartiennent à la caste des intouchables et tentent de survivre en récupérant et triant les déchets.
