Tsubomi

The welcoming of spring to the far-north island of Hokkaido, Japan, is ushered in with the arrival of the Sakura. The weather here can be unpredictable and often the blossoms fall too soon. Finding one tsubomi on a fully bloomed tree gives me hope of a still longer chance to bask in its beauty.
