Ceremonial Guard - Ottawa
Canada's two Foot Guard Regiments, the Governor General's Foot Guards in Ottawa and the Canadian Grenadier Guards from Montreal, combine during the summer to form the Ceremonial Guard in Ottawa. Part of their duties is conducting the daily changing of the guard ceremony on Parliament Hill. Here the Band of the Ceremonial Guard is marching back to their armouries after the ceremony. The National War Memorial and the Chateau Laurier are visible in the background.
