Commemoration of the Battle of York
Soldiers from one of Toronto's Reserve Army units march past the World War One memorial on University Avenue. The soldiers were among 1500 sailors and soldiers who marched in commemoration of the Battle of York (now Toronto). The parade and ceremonies marked the 200th anniversary of the battle between soldiers of the United States, the United Kingdom and the Colonial militia of what was to become Canada.
