NGC 7000 - the North American nebula
I had difficulty with this object because its low surface brightness meant I could not determine whether I had it in the field of view properly until after processing. Moreover, because it was so large anyway I could not get the whole object into the field of view either. As that is so I have two versions of this... a more northernly one made up of 14 subs but rather annoyingly this one, (which ironically has more of the desired section of the nebula in view) made up of only 10 subs. Anyway I am pleased with it. It was taken at ISO 800 on a Canon 650D modified camera, stacked in DSS and processed in Pixinsight. The processing was quite hard work for this object...
