Often my favourite photos I take are the ones where I'm most uncomfortable. Both physically and emotionally. The photos that twist my body into difficult poses, or chill my skin. And the photos that are born from thoughts and feelings that are unpleasant. But turning my discomfort into artwork is oddly what I find makes the images so conceptually successful...
