Someone told me there are more moose than people in Newfoundland

We saw a lot of moose alongside the road during our drive from Norris Point to St. Anthony. During an hour of the drive we timed how often we were seeing moose and on average we saw one moose every 7 minutes during that hour. Drive carefully in Newfoundland and keep a watch on the sides of the road.
