Yavin 4 Rebel Base
This is yet another small build for the Brickset 2017 Star wars Competition, and this one is the Rebel base on Yavin 4. The original inspiration for this was the U-wing, and I don’t know why, but what got me started for that was the blue rubber bands, and the idea to use those for the blue stripes on the wings. They were the only things that would make a stripe thin enough, and they work perfectly! The rest of the base isn’t that exciting, but I did try and put some little rebel pilots on the landing platform, and they are just made out of a couple studs each. In the end, I think it turned out okay, but not great. The U-wing looks good, but the base itself to me looks pretty mediocre.
