Chorlton - St Werburgh's Road Tram Stop

The view of St Werburgh's Road tram stop, situated next to the road of the same name, in Chorlton.

Opened in 2011, St Werburgh's Road tram stop was opened on a former railway line, originally part of the Cheshire Lines Committee.

St Werburgh's Road tram stop was not a railway station itself previously and therefore not a converted station.

To the top left of this photograph is where the Fallowfield loop path starts, which is a path which follows the same way as the former railway line once did, which linked trains from Manchester Central and here to places such as Withington, Fallowfield, Levenshulme, Fairfield and finally Gorton.
