Manchester Victoria East Junction

The view of Manchester Victoria East Junction, situated just outside on the eastern end of Manchester Victoria Railway Station, in Manchester.

Manchester Victoria East Junction previously used to have a carriage siding, which would go north west of this direction (you can see the remains of this on the left side of the photograph).

This side of the station has trains in the direction towards Rochdale, Bradford, Leeds (via Bradford), Blackburn (via Todmorden), Ashton, Stalybridge, Huddersfield, Leeds (via Huddersfield), York and other parts of Yorkshire.

Metrolink trams also travel in this direction, before going underground, towards Bury, Oldham and Rochdale.

Manchester Green Quarter and the River Irk can be seen on the left.
