Manchester - Golden Honey Bee Sculpture

A view of a Golden Honey Bee Sculpture, situated outside Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station, in Manchester.

The sculpture was created as part of the 'Bee in the City' campaign of culture in Manchester. Over 100 different types of these bee sculptures were created as part of the campaign, and were scattered around various locations within Greater Manchester. Majority of them were eventually sold off for charity.

You can find more at the website here: beeinthecitymcr.co.uk/

This sculpture was short lived and is now no longer outside the station, it is now the 'Victory Over Blindness' Sculpture / Monument.
