Alsager Railway Station

The view of Alsager Railway Station, facing in the direction towards Crewe.

In the opposite direction faces towards Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent, and beyond.

This station has train journeys to Crewe, Birmingham New Street, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, and more recently, Nottingham and Newark Castle.

In 2003, this railway line / station was electrified as part of the West Coast Modernisation programme, and to allow a diversionary route for West Coast services to and from London / Birmingham to reconnect back onto the mainline.

This is a level crossing station, and passengers for the opposite platform (facing towards Stoke-on-Trent), must cross this level crossing in order to access.
