Manchester - Vimto Park

A sculpture of a Vimto bottle can be seen here at Vimto Park, outside the Sackville Street Building near The University of Manchester.

A small plaque is situated near this, and reads:

"A MONUMENT TO VIMTO - by Kerry Morrison 1992 - Stained Oak taken from a managed forest - John Noel Nichols mixed his first batch of VIMTO at 19 Granby Row in 1908. This sculpture on the site of the building was commisoned at J.N. Nichols (Vimto) plc.".

In the distance, a Transpennine Express Class 185 train can be seen crossing the viaduct with a Manchester Airport - Liverpool Lime Street (via Newton-le-Willows) service.
