Hebden Bridge Railway Station

Hebden Bridge Railway Station was opened in 1840 the Manchester and Leeds Railway. The current station you see today was opened in 1893 by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, which then became the 'London, Midland and Scottish Railway'.

 

Today, the station is now owned by Network Rail and is managed/maintained by Northern and Transport for West Yorkshire.

 

Services from this station include: Halifax, Bradford Interchange, Leeds, York, Todmorden, Rochdale, Manchester Victoria, Salford Crescent, Wigan Wallgate, Southport, Burnley Manchester Road, Blackburn, Preston and Blackpool North.

 

In May 2019, Northern will be introducing a new Leeds - Chester (via the Calder Valley) service which will call at this station. In December 2019, Northern will be hoping to introduce a new Leeds - Liverpool (via Calder Valley) and Bradford - Manchester Airport (via Calder Valley) services using the new Class 195 DMU trains.
