Mount Rainier National Park | Woodland Wonder

While the fall leaves of sitka mountrain ash and huckleberry bushes carpet and color the open vistas of Paradise, vine maple brings reigning brilliancy to the evergreen woodlands below. I wandered onto this scene a couple of years ago when leaves were sporting their summuer greens and thought how pretty they would be in fall regalia. I returned here in early October and captured this path illuminated with color. This stretch of path is along the Wonderland Trail.
