UCS UT-AT 1
Hey there! This is the UT-AT aka the Trident.
It is minifig-scale and has about 4600 pieces. The model has a complete interior and is full of cool features!
It took me more than almost 2 months to get everything right! 😵.
If I ever do instructions of this do note that the cockpit won’t have green windows, but rather trans-clear pieces because of availability. Also, this moc connects to a platform with wheels so it can “hover” around.
-Lore Drop-
The Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport (UT-AT), also nicknamed the Trident, was 23.8 meters long repulsorlift vehicle that was manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards and Mekuun Corporation. The UT-AT was equipped with 1 central turbolaser cannon, 2 side medium laser cannons, a twin anti-infantry blaster below the vehicle's cockpit, and 4 anti-infantry laser turrets. The UT-AT was also equipped with 6 bomb launchers situated on the front of the vehicle that could launch V-6 Haywire Grenades and EMP grenades.
The UT-AT had 2 parallel rows of 8 repulsor skis. These repulsors could easily adapt to changes in terrain, lowering and tilting to optimize the efficiency of the vehicle’s movement. The vehicle had field sensors and scanners placed under the cabin. Besides the repulsor skis there were 4 repulsors installed under the main body of the UT-AT allowing it to reach speeds of 45 kilometers per hour.
The UT-AT was also an extremely stable artillery platform. When reversed, the repulsor skis allowed the vehicle to be anchored in the ground and become completely motionless. This allowed it to fire the weapons with extreme precision.
The UT-AT was crewed by 1 pilot and 5 gunners, and could transport 20 clone troopers, which were situated at the front section of the vehicle. The cabin had 2 operators, a pilot and a gunner. The latter controlled the central turbolaser cannon, the grenade launchers and the twin anti-infantry blaster and the pilot had control of the side medium laser cannons.
