Starry Night
A starry night at Mt Umunhum. A lone box-shaped tower in the foreground was a radar station at an elevation of about 3500 ft above sea level. The tower is a iconic landmark in Si valley, observing our galaxy core in about 26k light years away from this planet. Light pollution in Si valley presents some challenges for me to capture the milkyway, but I do hope you finding this shot inspiring. Almaden.
