San Diego Comic-Con 2015: The Art of Comic-Con
Over the past 45 years, Comic-Con has created and published hundreds of publications, beginning with program books and mailers that kept attendees up to date on upcoming events. In the 1990s, these "Progress Reports" morphed into a full-fledged magazine, published quarterly and variously called Update, Comic-Con Magazine and Comic-Con Annual. In addition, Comic-Con has published program books for its sister shows WonderCon (since 2002) and APE, the Alternative Press Expo (from 1995-2014). Over the years, Comic-Con has produced a rich and diverse history of comics through their publications.
