Kayre Morrison and Scott McCloud welcome BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon to the stage in accept the Russ Manning Promising Newcomer Award on behalf of Jorge Corona. Because of shortage of on stage trophies due to a tie in the category this year, Gagnon is offered two glasses to scotch in lieu of an award statue -- which he gladly accepts.
