Getting By In Darkness

This is one of my first evenings out with my camera, after getting

home from Manila....and finding the community in darkness and

ruin.....Typhoon Odette.

No electricity in most of the city. Only a few areas have power,

and the rest have to get by with portable generators or candels.

This is near Gaisano Grand Mall, Basak. Telecom and power

lines are on the ground, causing much difficulty for all. The street

is immediately to the right of the wires on the ground.
