Panzer III Showcase

This tank started out as a StuG III Ausf A by Brickfactory-Berlin, but I decided to scrap it and see if I could combine the StuG with existing spare parts. The result you see is a combination of Brickfactory's StuG lower hull with Brickmania's Panzer III upper hull and turret. However to fit he radio operator, I had to remove the hull MG.

 

Features:

- Seven opening hatches (Five for crewmen, two for engine access)

- Movable tracks

- Turret can rotate 360˚

- Main gun elevates and depresses

- Detailed engine compartment with Maybach HL 120
