Moon, take thy flight
This is one of two cards that are , well, oddballs. I've had this stamp set of Shakespeare's quotes from #heroarts for a while now, and I like that "Moon, take thy flight" sentiment for a friend whose last name is Moon. I wanted the owl to fly across a full moon along a trail of stars. I used the moon die included in July #mymonthlyhero to cut the moon out of a #distressoxide background, which I inlaid into the panel. But the first version (all black) looked somber and perhaps "Halloweeny". So I made another, this time I blended a cloudy night sky and used a white card base. Still unsure about these cards, but I did learn something: I like the way Distress Oxides blend on Bristol cardstock.
