Capturing The Elements
Disco At The Door
Met up with some friends for some night sky fun at Durdle Door .
A nice drink at one of the local Lulworth Pubs to kick things off.
Then on to the Door but with limited time to start taking pictures soon as we got to the location it was all hands on deck to get shooting .
So deployed the tripod then focus the brightest star and angle for the composition set the shutter to fire away then opened the chair with a nice pasty and a flask of cold coffee for good measure as I didn't screw the cap on properly then we just sat back and watched all the other mad people running around with their head torches and lasers which was very fun
I managed to get a nice selection of clear images for a big astro still , also was lucky to have a 7 min exposure for the foreground WITHOUT any torches yaaay but the glow coming from Portland hitting the door was incredible the light showed the contours and shadows of the rugged rock in like a 3d effect.
if interested please check my last post for the STILL shot :)
NOTE for some reason the quality on the upload has gone a bit rubbish / its my 1st timelapse video ive ever uploaded to flickr
deos anyone know it there is some way to make the quality better ?
