Couple days ago @tonywoodphotography and son decided to head to Portland for some astro action and it didn't disappoint unlike last week's cloudy venture to here
This and pulpit rock was a shot I've been wanting for ages this being the main event shot We were buzzing as we witnessed the milkyway move into position over the bill it was just amazing to see
The conditions were perfect but boy wasn't it a challenge to photograph , getting detail in the milkyway and nearby rocks while contending a battle with the lighthouse a major light source over exposing the scene but it was a challenge well worth the time and perseverance π
