National Mall (Bricks Cascade 2020)

3 1/2 years into an estimated 5 1/2 year project, this is what the National Mall currently looks like. This is what I'm taking to Bricks Cascade at the end of February.

There will be one significant addition that is not shown in this photo and that's lighting the Mall (or as much of it as I can before arriving in Portland).

As you can see, so much more work to do. But this year I've added the Air & Space Museum, the Department of Agriculture, a test build of the Hirschhorn and the U.S. Forest Service Headquarters.

I also built a version of the White House so folks can compare its size to the buildings on the Mall.

There will also be assorted little builds showing techniques and process, the John Klesh challenge and a surprise build.

So, if you're interested and in the Portland area, come to Bricks Cascade, stop by the Microscale area and say hello.
