'Gothic' Derwent Dam, England

The imposing east neo-Gothic tower of the Derwent Dam with the overflow cascading from the reservoir beyond. Completed in 1912 this reservoir was the location that the RAF 617 Squadron - or The Dambusters - used to practice their techniques prior to using their bouncing bombs on the Ruhr dams of Germany.
