Find solace in the mundane...

 

 

As we roll through humpday, often the hardest day of the week to pull through, it's good to try and find some solace in the mundane. Fall into the rhythm of solidarity and allow your mind to wander to better days, times and things that you look forward too... however it can also help to look for the things that standout amongst the monotony.

 

 

Often when out bush walking with my camera it can be tricky to find compositions amongst the throngs of trees ad bushes become a wash to the vision as they all stack on top of each other. I find I really have o engage my minds eye to try and see things as compositions...sometimes you get home and they have worked , many times it is the opposite. Much like the grass tree it is often about finding that thing that stands out amongst the wash and hoping you can do it justice and make the composition work. Like life, if you focus hard enough and let everything else just wash away around you, it all comes together.

 

 

Taken on a recent walk through some bush land near where I live that I enjoy stretching my legs in. 😄
