Glurns, Stadtmühle
Die Stadtmühle von Glurns wurde mehrmals beschädigt oder zerstört, aber wegen ihrer großen Bedeutung für die Bevölkerung immer wieder aufgebaut. 2009 wurde sie komplett restauriert und ist heute wieder voll funktionstüchtig.
Ab 1330 war die Stadtmühle Glurns dank des von der Etsch abgezweigten Mühlbaches in Betrieb. Die Bauern konnten das Korn zu dieser Mühle bringen und der Bach diente aber auch den Gerbern in der benachbarten Gerbergasse zur Reinigung der Tierhäute.

The town mill of Glurns was damaged or destroyed several times, but was rebuilt again and again because of its great importance for the population. It was completely restored in 2009 and is now fully functional again.
From 1330 the town mill of Glurns was in operation thanks to the Mühlbach, which branched off from the Etsch. The farmers were able to bring the grain to this mill and the stream was also used by the tanners in the neighboring Gerbergasse to clean the animal skins.
