Um das Jahr 1875 kam das Baden im Meer in Mode. Die ersten Gäste kamen in den kleinen Ort Binz, fanden Gefallen an ihm, empfahlen ihn weiter. Im gleichen Jahr entstand die erste Verbindungsstraße vom Dorf zum Strand (Putbuser Straße). Zehn Jahre später wurde Binz offiziell Seebad, was zur Folge hatte, dass stark gebaut wurde: die Strandpromenade, die Seebrücke, das Kurhaus, ein neues Wegenetz. 2018-07-06
