Lavender Dream
This is pretty much part II of my 'pool' build.
I wanted to change some things that were not working that well and introduced some other things that do not work instead :-D
The pool had a bulky large base and I replaced it with much smaller ones. I didn't cover up the anti studs of the ring frames this time which is... ok. But nothing more. Not really nice.
The pool seemed to lack depth so I added lots of depth here :-) by adding a separate back and foreground. So depth is no problem here :-)
Unfortunately the reflections do not work here. I didn't really focus on it and just went along.
But there are also some personal highlights. I just love the dark turquise in combination with lavender and the rather neutral olive, dark tan, grey.
And I also love the middle part between the two towers. I guess I have to make a building in that style.
Photography wise I was pretty fed up with having not enough light and trying wo work around that. So I used artifical light. The towers are really lit. The window in the right looks like I have used 1x2 plates there. It's 1x2 trans black tiles though and the 1x2 plates are only behind it. So this one is missing my usual look with all the dark shadows.
