Neo (yellow) vs Neo2 (dark gray)

Not sure when I will mod my Neo2, but I know that I want to do yellow again. The yellow I got for the Neo 1 wasn't vinyl die (the hardware store only had rustoleum paint for plastics). The rustoleum paint was okay, but it was paler that I wanted and it has a slightly tacky sensation (not terrible, and mostly neutralized by sanding between coats of spray, but there is still a noticeable difference between the piece plastic paint and the vinyl spray die). When I do get my yellow vinyl dye (it's almost impossible to find). I think I'll go with a black back, a yellow battery compartment, a yellow face, and a black keyboard. Painting this last keyboard was a good experience (and I now feel I could easily paint a new keyboard), but assembling/creating all of the custom letters for the Neo's unsupported keys was a bit time consuming. Since my Neo2 has dark gray keys, it would be easier to just not paint the keys and safe myself that headache...but then the back of my neo's case wouldn't match the color of the keyboard. In the end, I will probably mod this second keyboard, too, but I need to wait a few months to do it since I am busy with writing deadlines.
