"Prairie Pursuer", light steam walker, 1850s
"A family of settlers heading west with their motorized four-legged wagon, circa 1850. Steam walkers like this one were the preferred choice for the long and dangerous journey to the "final frontier".
Those who successfully completed the journey, either quickly dismantled the wagon for parts or sold it off - it was especially sought after by prospectors and other enthusiasts of the gold rush. Though some accounts of walking stage coaches steadily shuffling through the prairie exist as well."
.
A brief return to the fantasy Wild West aesthetic. Built over the course of the last two weekends.
Credits to Boylei Hobby Time on YouTube as I took a fair amount of inspiration from an older model of theirs.
