Though it is still very much a caboose, this caboose, however, has been relegated to no more than a shoving platform for trains making their way down the branch to Paragon as seen here with a westbound NS empty coal train slowly backing up to couple to the ex-N&W Ry. cab on the gloomy afternoon of November 15, 2020, in Appalachia, VA.
