I chose a male subject, diverting focus from Amy’s over-sold image. Through the eyes of a fan, I explored the lack of visual discernment between a scream of ecstasy and one of distress, aiming to capture her conflicting emotions whilst performing. This focused on the existence of isolation despite adoration.
