Machel Mushrooms

I have a few favourite finds from the weekend's trail hiking - this one was at the top of my list with more to come as I slowly work through them (way, way too many of them). I couldn't tell you the first thing about these little guys, but I sought them out with thoughts of the inspiring Machel (who surely knows everything about them). She amazes me with the magical characters she discovers and brings to her stream, glowing with the most glorious light, texture and fantasy. Thanks for inspiring me to look a little closer at the dark hollows off the beaten path Machel
