All we've got is uz

I found out that "All we've got is uz" is the name of a song by Onyx (1995) a rapgroup and also from a rapduo named Capone-N-Noreaga (2000).

This mural was made by Frankie Sticks to honor the 15th anniversary of the Hiphophouse, on the left of the parkinglot. With the words: It was all a dream.. on it

 

Both rapgroups are from New York and to give it a NY-touch Frankie used this lettertype which looks a little like the logo of the New York Yankees.

It's like a tribute to the city of New York as the birthplace of HipHop.

 

The mural above these words is made by the Brazilian street artist Speto.

This was inspired by the painting of Picasso.. called Guernica.

 

Behind that all you see a tall silver building and the smaller black building and together this is the Delftse Poort.

 

The Delftse Poort has a hight of 151,35 m and 41 stories high.. the lower building is 93 m.

The architect is the Frisian architect Abe Bonnema.

 

The smaller building on the right is called Central Post which is build from 1955-1959 and on that roof I did take a look closer at the Delftse Poort and over another part of the city.

As you can see, on top of the Central Post you see little heads.. of the people standing and watching there.

 

And all these interesting things I saw from a 7 story high building, Schieblock, in our beautiful town, Rotterdam.

 

The best there is.

Born and raised there, I should know.
