Foxgloves / Digitalis, growing in the verge below a dry stone wall near Marshaw, Over Wyresdale, Lancashire.
This is the Trough Road, which links the upper Wyre Valley with the Hodder Valley through the 'Trough of Bowland' pass in the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding National Beauty AONB. At this point the Marshaw Wyre stream runs close to the road on the left.
The dry stone walls are made from gritstone, known locally as millstone grit.
