Seahorse Pride(hexed black) 2
216 (1 set) - Magnets Used (12) -18 Dot Hexes were formed and manipulated to create this design
Here's a nice representation of a Seahorse proudly riding his tail across the waters surface, like a dolphin. This was a little tricky getting it to balance properly, but a magnetic mirror under the scenes surface helped a lot. Once I managed to craft the head I could envision the seahorse's body also. A little trial & error and waalaa.
Finally I added a little post graphics by tinting the background with a blue overlay and adding a treeline with a nice mountain range, across the center, to create depth and the appearance of an outdoor lake scene with a night sky, or perhaps even a stormy sky, as a storm approaches from the west (left side..xD).
A new addition to Seahorse Pride 2 is an added reflection of the treeline & mountain range, which adds just that little needed detail to top off the full effect...xD :-)
Actually, the way it is setup up now is that I only added one object (treeline/reflection merged as one object) to the original picture and tinted the background with a blue overlay, the rest is the original picture.
Here is a nice variation of this composition in the form of a hexagon frame which is nicely viewed a black background. (which works well when viewing this image in normal preset view in Flickr format)
