In the Eastern extension was created theater. The private theater of the Yusupov Palace calculated on 180 people are constructed in 1858-1859 by the architect I. Monigetti, in 1899 are reconstructed as envisioned by the architect A. Stepanov. The interior is decorated in the style Baroque and Rococo. The interior of this theatre, which remained intact until nowadays, can't but arouse admiration from the visitors. It is richly decorated by gilding, and on the ceiling there remained beautiful plafonds.
Russian and foreign actors, vocalists sparkled with their talents in Yusupov Theatre. To the Theatre related such personalities as A. Dargomyzhsliy, M. Glinka, E. Napravnik, L. Minkus, F. List, K. Shuman, F. Chaliapin, P. Viardo, F. Chopin, L. Sobinov and other celebrities. On the stage of the theater and now there are ballet productions and chamber concerts.
Scene with the remained original curtain which still rises manually. Chairs are also original, the end of the 19th century. The picturesque plafonds executed in 1899 by the artist E. Lipgart as envisioned by the architect A.A. Stepanov.

В восточной пристройке был создан театр. Домашний театр Юсуповского дворца, рассчитанный на 180 человек, построен в 1858-1859 гг. архитектором И. Монигетти, в 1899 г. перестроен по замыслу архитектора А. Степанова. Интерьер оформлен в стиле барокко и рококо. Интерьер этого театра, который остался нетронутым до наших дней, не может не вызывать восхищения у посетителей. Он богато украшена золочением, а на потолке остались прекрасные плафоны.
Российские и зарубежные актеры, вокалисты сверкали своими талантами в театре. На сцене театра выступали П. Виардо, Ф. Лист, К. Шуман, Ф. Шаляпин, Л. Собинов и другие знаменитости. Театр посещали царствующие монархи. На сцене театра и сейчас идут балетные постановки и камерные концерты.
Сцена с сохранившимся оригинальным занавесом, который до сих пор поднимается вручную. Стулья партера тоже оригинальные, конец 19 века.
