A New Era

The evening Trona job climbs upgrade out of the Searles Valley with a loaded soda ash train. At the helm is UP 2159, one of three SD60's recently leased to Trona. While replacing much of the roster, a couple SP SD40T-2's continue to demonstrate their worthiness, though they to are on borrowed time with the anticipated arrival of new Tier 4 power.
