Lego Trials of Two-Face Part 10
I'm ready. I've sorted all the evidence. Everything I've found that ties Falcone to my assassination attempt is ready. All I need to do is give it to the GCPD, then watch Falcone's world come crashing down. Getting my phone, I call James. After two rings he answers.
James: (over the phone) "Hey Harvey. Heard what happened, sorry about your case."
Harvey: "Nothing you can do. Listen, I need-"
James: "You know, I have a question for you. Oh, wait. You go first."
Harvey: "No, you go first. I insist."
James: "You sure?"
Harvey: "Ask away."
James: "So, one of my buddies said he say you talking to Sal Maroni yesterday. Is this true?"
Harvey: "Yes. Now I-"
James: "Listen, he worried. We all are. You haven't been yourself lately. Is everything alright?"
Harvey: (frustrated) "No, that's why I need you to arrest Carmine Falcone."
James: "What? Arrest Falcone? We've been working on that for years, with no avail. We just don't have the evidence. And why do want him arrested anyways?"
Harvey: "He was behind my attacking!"
James: (chuckles) "Harvey..."
Harvey: (Angry) "Listen! I have the evidence! I'll give it to you, and you will see! He did this to me!"
James: "Do you have physical proof, or is it all circumstantial? Because if it's the latter, then there's nothing I can do."
Harvey: "Well, maybe we can-"
James: "I'm sorry Harvey. We can't. Wait, what's that?" (Pause) "Bullock says there's a new masked psycho in Gotham. I have to go. I'm sorry Harv. Just promise me you won't do anything rash until we talk it over. Okay? Harvey?" (Harvey hangs up.)
He can't help. He's useless. Just like Batman. They say they'll help you. Protect you. But they lie. I'm done. Done with James. Done with Batman. I've tried to do this in accordance to the law in which I serve. But no more. You know what? Batman did show me something. Justice must be served. No matter what. And that's exactly what I plan to do.
