The Dragon King
Everyone knows that the land to the East is the domain of the dragons. It is a land of mountains and hills and rivers; a place where dragons fly and live freely among the folk together in harmony.
And they are all governed and ruled over by a being of great wisdom. They say that like his ancestors, The Dragon King is an elven mage of great power and was taught by the dragons, themselves, from a young age. There are stories of how he'd gone to personally end wars; fighting on behalf of his people and wielding magic unlike any other creature alive...
Some say he's immortal; having learned the ancient magic from the dragons long ago. Most have lost track of how long he's sat upon his throne with Yr Roc, his faithful friend and companion, at his side.
Many would say he's as interesting as he is intimidating. He says what he means and means what he says. He's a diplomat and warrior; always certain and quick to make precise decisions which best benefit all involved.
History shows that our lands have never known such peace and prosperity until his reign. No one would ever tell you otherwise.

This short story was inspired by this whole look my husband Vin put together for his twin's fantasy-themed ball! I looked at him and said, "Save this outfit! Its inspiring!" and here we are!
