AK47 Type-3
Here is my third new addition to my AK series. For the purists at heart, I present to you a Kalashnikov AK47 Type-3.
If you look at my photostream you will note that this is my second attempt at this weapon (see: www.flickr.com/photos/153609949@N08/34224785190). While I was very happy with that build, the advent of Shockwave's wood AK furniture inspired me to have another crack at her.
Credit to Shockwave for the lettering on the receiver and the amazing woodgrain stock. The pistol grip and front handguard were adapted by me from Shockwave's AIMS handguard.
All metal parts (receiver, barrel assembly, sights, and magazine) are by me.
