Northern mockingbird chick

One of the chicks at the nest by our kitchen window fledged far earlier than it was supposed to. During a storm last night it was probably blown out, but thankfully appears to be in great health.

 

The bird is still being fed by its parents while I type the description, and hopefully it will continue to grow until it is ready to fly.
