Coming in for a landing!

A male Mallard duck just about to land into a largish pond.

 

I sat there for a long period attempting to keep my eyes open for other species of waterfowl, but saw nothing but Mallards. I decided to wait around for a bit and get a nice shot of a duck in the air. I think this works nicely
