Barn swallows
Two Barn swallow chicks perched on a reed at Azraq nature preserve, Jordan.
There were many different species and ages of swallow at Azraq that day, but a vast majority were in the air, which does provide a good action shot, but isn't that good when trying to shoot a portrait of a bird. These two chicks allowed me to get within 10 feet of them, without flying away. I proceeded to set up my tripod on the boardwalk and shoot several images, these two are the two I like the most.
