Inanimate Object Comic

This comic was a challenge, but a rewarding one. My goal was to show the passage of time through the way objects on a table get rearranged, and I eventually settled on the idea of a candy bowl, with a single candy that doesn't belong. I wanted to have a definitive "protagonist" in this comic, and I think the coloring helps make that clear, since the out of place blue candy stands out among all the red candies.
